Job Purpose
The Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining customer relationships, promoting company products/services, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Promote and sell the company's products and services.
- Maintain strong and professional relationships with existing customers.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct customer visits and product presentations.
- Prepare quotations, sales reports, and other required documentation.
- Follow up on leads, quotations, orders, and customer inquiries.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Negotiate with customers while maintaining company pricing and policies.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfactory resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer information.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales or business development is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good customer service and relationship-management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic reporting.
- Ability to travel for customer visits when required.
- A valid driving license is an advantage.
