Mapinga Premium Foods is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Officer to join our team in Mapinga, Bagamoyo.

THE ROLE

The Senior Quality Officer will be responsible for:

• Quality control and Laboratory activity
• Food Safety and Quality Systems
• Product Traceability
• Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement
• Reporting and Team Collaboration

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of quality control or food safety experience in food manufacturing.
• Practical experience implementing and enforcing ISO 22000 or ISO 9001; HACCP knowledge is essential.
• Good understanding of GMP, GHP, product traceability, and laboratory testing.
• Strong analytical, reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, and 5S; Lean and continuous improvement knowledge is an added advantage.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
