Senior Sales Specialist (Building & Industrial)

Elsewedy Electric is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Sales Specialist (Building & Industrial) to lead business development and sales activities across the industrial and construction sectors.

The successful candidate will focus on expanding the customer base, securing product approvals with key stakeholders, managing client relationships, and driving revenue through the sale of low-voltage, medium-voltage, and specialty cable products.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned order intake, invoicing, gross profit, and payment collection targets across the building and industrial sectors.
• Develop relationships with developers, consultants, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) contractors, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors, architects, and industrial clients to secure product approvals during the design stage.
• Monitor construction project opportunities from inception through bidding, negotiation, and order fulfilment.
• Conduct customer and site visits to identify project requirements, qualify business opportunities, and present commercial and technical proposals.
• Collaborate with technical, production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely project delivery.
• Maintain accurate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) records, sales pipelines, visit reports, and revenue forecasts for management review.
• Ensure full compliance with company pricing models, credit policies, contractual obligations, and Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Professional registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) or an equivalent professional body.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience; a proven B2B sales track record in the cable manufacturing industry is mandatory. Seven years of experience is preferred.
• Strong technical and commercial expertise in building and industrial cable solutions.
• Experience in contract negotiation, tender management, and CRM tools.
• Fluency in both English and Swahili.
