Service Advisor
INDUSTRY: AUTOMOTIVE
HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a customer-oriented and proactive Service Advisor responsible for coordinating vehicle service activities, managing customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery throughout the customer journey.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome customers and accurately assess their vehicle service and repair requirements.
- Create service orders and ensure all customer concerns are clearly documented.
- Explain recommended repairs, maintenance requirements, and service costs to customers.
- Coordinate with workshop technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Monitor vehicle repair progress and provide regular updates to customers.
- Prepare and review quotations, estimates, and invoices.
- Ensure all completed work meets quality standards before vehicle handover.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Promote service packages, maintenance programs, parts, and other aftersales products.
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service records within the company systems.
- Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction.
- Support the achievement of departmental sales and customer satisfaction targets.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in a Service Advisor, Customer Service, Aftersales, or Automotive Service role.
- Strong understanding of automotive maintenance and repair processes.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and service management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
