Site Operations Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Operations Technician to join our team. The role involves ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our sites and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Management and Safety
- Ensure the site is managed safely and is working normally.
- Set up locks for fences, machine rooms, fuel tanks, and generators.
- Maintain site cleanliness: inside machine rooms, fans, and equipment surfaces.
- Check all site alarms and cooperate with NOC to test external alarms monthly (e.g., generator running, low battery, rectifier failure, main failure, high temperature, door opening, low fuel level).
- Configure parameters according to regulations.
- Test and detect battery problems to optimize battery banks following guidelines.
- Maintain generators: replace oil, fuel filters, oil filters, and air filters.
- Cover antenna mast and container house bolts with grease.
- Inspect the container house cover: ensure the base, floor, walls, ceilings, and roofs are tight, not warped, not peeling paint, waterproof, and rust-free.
2. Route Cable Safety and Stability
- Perform patrols of route cables.
- Clean the secure corridor of route cables.
- Periodically check and evaluate the quality of transmission network management.
3. Refueling and Handover
- Organize teams or cooperate with partners to refuel and hand over to collaborators.
- Cooperate with Technical and NOC departments to operate and monitor collaborator generators.
4. Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot issues during large-area power outages.
- Troubleshoot cable breaks.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Technical fields (IT - Telecommunications).
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Highly preferred candidates with at least one year of management experience.
Skills:
- Ability to read and understand technical English documents.
- Proficiency in using job-related software.
