Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Description
- Analyze requirements and prepare test plans.
- Design and execute test cases and scripts.
- Test MFS functionality and customer journeys.
- Validate APIs and system integrations.
- Verify transaction accuracy and data integrity.
- Develop automated tests and perform regression testing.
- Test system performance and scalability.
- Assess system resilience and recovery capabilities.
- Verify security controls and compliance requirements.
- Track defects and verify corrective actions.
- Conduct quality checks before system releases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues.
Academic Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or above.
- Agile Testing or Scrum certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Experience in test planning, defect management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
