Job Purpose

The Store Keeper will be responsible for streamlining operations in the Yard and Stores through effective inventory management, materials tracking, verification and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stock and Inventory Management
   • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly stock and inventory positions.
   • Ensure that materials are properly reconciled.
2. Inventory Monitoring and Control
   • Monitor inventory tracking systems.
   • Control materials dispatched to operational departments.
3. Materials Verification and Inspection
   • Physically verify materials received and issued.
   • Identify acceptable and non-acceptable materials.
4. Reporting
   • Prepare and submit timely reports and summaries of materials movements.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

• Advanced Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Materials Management or a related field.
• Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP) qualification will be an added advantage.

Work Experience

• At least two (2) years of experience in a related field.
