Business Unit & Reporting
Reporting To: Management
Core Function
- Drive sales growth for the Company focusing on Northern Tanzania.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and a positive presence in the northern zone relevant customers and distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities whilst expanding existing channels.
- Represent the Company across the Northern Zone and demonstrate a high level of product knowledge to perform successful marketing and implement solutions.
- Achieve set sales targets and territory performance goals.
Experience & Qualifications
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in agricultural and livestock sectors.
- Strong understanding of livestock management practices and fencing solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building long-term client relationships.
- Strong sales mind and closing abilities.
- Technical aptitude to learn and understand the product portfolio, and explain in detail product specifications and site assessments.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
Basic Responsibilities
- Execute a territory sales plan aligned with Company goals and standards.
- Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations, and site assessments.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting new customers and opportunities.
- Provide expert advice using the resources available to implement effective sales strategies for the Company.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Utilize the systems and resources available to report movements and activities effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support professionally.
