Territory Manager - Southern

About the Role
This is a management position focused on driving sales growth for the Company within the Southern Tanzania territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and distributors, identifying new business opportunities, and representing the Company with a high level of product knowledge.
Core Functions
- Drive sales growth for the Company focusing on Southern Tanzania.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and a positive presence in the southern zone relevant customers and distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities whilst expanding existing channels.
- Represent the Company across the Southern Zone and demonstrate a high level of product knowledge to perform successful marketing and implement solutions.
- Achieve set sales targets and territory performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a territory sales plan aligned with Company goals and standards.
- Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations, and site assessments.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting new customers and opportunities.
- Provide expert advice using the available resources to implement effective sales strategies for the Company.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Utilize the systems and resources available to report movements and activities effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support professionally.
Experience and Qualifications
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in agricultural and livestock sectors.
- Strong understanding of livestock management practices and fencing solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building long-term client relationships.
- Strong sales mind and closing abilities.
- Technical aptitude to learn and understand the product portfolio, and explain in detail product specifications and site assessments.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
