Trade Finance & Remittance Officer

We seek a detail-oriented Remittance & Trade Finance Officer to support local and international payments, remittance operations, and Trade Finance activities while ensuring quality service and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Process local, international and regional transfers, including TISS, TT, EAPS and BRISK.
• Reconcile Remittance and Trade Finance suspense accounts.
• Support Trade Finance and Letters of Credit operations.
• Respond to customer, correspondent bank and audit queries.
• Prepare regulatory reports for Bank of Tanzania (BoT).
• Ensure compliance with Bank procedures, risk controls and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Administration or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience at Officer level.
• Strong customer service, communication and organisational skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-driven with strong attention to detail.
