Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Waiter II to join our Operations team. This role is vital in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests within our camps.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet and escort customers to their tables.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including portions, ingredients, and potential food allergies.
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
- Inform customers about the day's specials.
- Offer menu recommendations upon request.
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate.
- Take accurate food and drinks orders using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality or a vocational training in Food & Beverage.
- Previous experience as a Waiter in tourism industries is essential.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a waiter in a camp environment.
- Must be able to speak English fluently; other languages are an advantage.
- The ability to work well with others.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Commitment to a high level of customer service.
- Attention to detail.
Experience
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
