Indus Chemicals Private Limited

Indus Chemicals Private Limited is a greenfield specialty chemicals venture establishing East Africa's first merchant copper sulphate (CuSO₄·5H₂O) manufacturing plant at the Bagamoyo Special Economic Zone (TISEZA), Tanzania. Our core mission is regional import substitution — supplying the mining, agriculture, and animal-feed sectors across East Africa and the wider EAC region from local production, replacing product currently imported from distant markets.

The plant is being built as a modern, environmentally responsible facility featuring a closed-loop, Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) process design, dedicated 11kV power infrastructure, and engineering executed to international standards. The project has advanced through detailed engineering, BOQ finalization, and regulatory approvals under Tanzania's SEZ framework, and is now moving toward the construction and commissioning phase.
