 Sales Manager – Commercial & Special Purpose Vehicles (Indian-origin)


Location:

Tanzania (Based in Dar es Salaam, nationwide coverage)


Company Background:

We are the authorized distributor of DONGFENG brand in Tanzania.

Products include dump trucks, tractor trucks, special purpose vehicles (water tankers, fuel tankers, garbage trucks, etc.) and passenger cars.


Responsibilities:

1. Lead overall sales development and market expansion in Tanzania

2. Manage, train and supervise local Tanzanian sales staff

3. Develop key accounts using existing industry and personal networks

4. Lead negotiations with major clients and close high-value deals

5. Coordinate sales, after-sales service and payment collection

6. Provide market intelligence and support pricing and product strategy


Requirements:

1. Proven experience in commercial vehicles, heavy trucks, special vehicles or machinery sales

2. Strong understanding of the Tanzanian market

3. Existing customer resources in construction, mining, logistics or transport sectors preferred

4. Proven team management experience

5. Fluent in English

6. Strong negotiation and deal-closing ability

7. Willing to travel nationwide

Position 2: Sales Executive – Commercial, Special Purpose Vehicles & Passenger Cars (Local Tanzanian)


Location:

Tanzania (Dar es Salaam and surrounding regions)


Company Background:

We are the authorized distributor of DONGFENG brand in Tanzania, supplying commercial vehicles, special purpose vehicles and passenger cars.


Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for sales of commercial vehicles, special purpose vehicles and passenger cars

2. Develop and maintain local customer relationships

3. Conduct customer visits, vehicle demonstrations, quotations and order follow-up

4. Support vehicle delivery, after-sales coordination and customer retention

5. Collect market information and report to the sales manager


Requirements:

1. Experience in vehicle, truck, machinery or equipment sales

2. Familiar with the local Tanzanian market

3. Existing customer resources or fleet contacts preferred

4. Fluent in Swahili and English

5. Target-driven and willing to work in the field

6. Able to travel for customer visits
