Mechanic - Heavy Duty
HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, we are seeking for a skilled and reliable Mechanic who will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs for light and heavy-duty vehicles.
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake checks, and tire rotations.
Repair or replace defective parts including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults accurately.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work conducted.
Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and comply with company and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to complete repair jobs in a timely manner.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior mechanics when needed.
Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Qualifications:
Certificate or Diploma in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, or any other related field from recognized institution.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
