Job Title: Head of Procurement

Job Summary:

The Jobholder will be in-charge of the Procurement Department and responsible for developing and maintaining a resilient and sustainable procurement service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.
• Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
• Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Supply/Distribution Industry
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or any other relevant degree
• CIPS or any other certification in Procurement is a requirement
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Experience in supply/distribution industry is a MUST.
