HR AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
INDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING
LOCATION: PWANI
HR World on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a HR and Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Provide all recruitment administration support
- Ensure all criminal record checks are carried out fully and in a timely manner
- Provide HR support and advice to employees and HODS, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner
- Handle health and safety processes and queries
- Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures
- Contribute to HR projects such as introducing a new induction programme
- Administer the performance management system
- Provide data for and prepare management information report
- Maintain and develop the personnel filing system
- Provide support in investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Administer sound work safety and housekeeping
- Manage and maintain record of statutory Licenses and Permits
- Implement management guidelines with regards to employees
- Administer and Implement Disciplinary Code of Conduct
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management
- Previous Administrative or HR assistant experience of at least 1 year is preferred.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is a must
