Halotel is Hiring: Human Resource Officer
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding of new employees.
- Maintain, update, and ensure accuracy of employee records and HR databases.
- Administer HR-related payments, including terminal benefits and statutory deductions.
- Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and labor regulations.
- Handle employee relations issues and respond to staff queries professionally.
- Enforce company policies and procedures across the organization.
- Assist in performance management processes, including staff appraisals and evaluations.
- Coordinate training and development programs for employees.
- Prepare HR reports, documentation, and maintain proper filing systems.

- Understanding of HR processes, payroll support, and employee lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of labor regulations and statutory requirements.
- Accuracy in handling employee records, payroll data, and reports.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Effective time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to address employee concerns and provide practical HR solutions.
- Proficiency in HR systems and standard office applications.
- Ability to collaborate with different departments and support organizational goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in HR operations or administration (added advantage).
- Basic knowledge of labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.
- Understanding of payroll processes, including terminal benefits and mandatory deductions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle employee relations matters.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and HR systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
