Logistics Controls Supplier Performance Manager

Job Description 

Title of the position: Supplier Performance Manager 

Reports to: Head Of customers Service Delivery 

Overall Responsibility 

Overall analysis of Logistics Supplier’s performance. 

• Manage the operations and performance of the suppliers and hold them to account for value addition.
• Ensure suppliers are performing as per the set KPIs and measured periodically as per the contract.
• Generate and Manage all the Logistics analytics.
• Organize and ensure periodic performance reviews take place and are documented.
• Manage the relationship between the business and suppliers. Management and development of the transport team.
• Supervising of the scheduling and planning of the transport operation, ensuring vehicle utilization is maximized and Service levels met.
• Provide Directions to the team and ensure Key performance indicators are achieved as per the SOPs – OTIF
• Manage and coordinate delivery and receipts of new Glass and Shells from 3rd party providers.
• Track, trace, and analyses transit losses to and ex-trade by the transporter as per set agreements.
• Management of finished goods stocks, haulage distribution services and other contracted services
• Act as the focal point between demand, supply, and suppliers in ensuring supply continuity and pro-actively mitigate against potential non-adherence to plans.
• Consistently drive for OTFNE of above 90%
• Prepare, Coordinate and manage weekly and monthly operations meetings and KPI review meetings with key stakeholders.
• Drive controls and compliance agenda with the suppliers.
• Any other activity as may be allocated to you from time to time. 

Qualifications 

• Degree B Commerce; BBA; Marketing or the Equivalent. Prefer financial or logistics/warehousing degrees
• Professional qualification (CPA- ACCA, CIPS, CILT)
• Supply chain knowledge 

Experience 

• 2-4 years hands-on experience in Finance/Supply Chain preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Experience in SAP more on OTC
• Experience in supply chain management will be an added advantage
