Project Engineer

PROJECT ENGINEER
INDUSTRY: CONSTRUCTION
HR World Limited on behalf of our client we are looking for a Project Engineer/ Draftsman who will provide field support, inspect / verify materials, equipment, construction workmanship and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and code requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Review project plans and proposals, and work with management to develop project objectives
• Oversee, coordinate, and perform technical aspects of project, with guidance, based on type of project manager support required (e.g., engineer, quality, scheduler)
• Review, evaluate, approve, and monitor cost schedule and technical scope baselines
• Ensure the preparation of required project documentation

• Contribute to communication plan and change management elements
• Determine long lead items for pre-order requirements
• Schedule and coordinate activities and resources needed for efficient execution of work
• Prepare project status reports, and provide data to others for reporting as needed
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge of local Construction and building codes
• A minimum of 5 years’ work experience of project management and as Draftsman
