Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MOHCDGEC) through Global Fund Grants is looking for enthusiastic, creative and energetic individuals whom will work under contractual agreement to fill the following vacant positions:
NATIONAL TUBERCULOSIS AND LEPROSY PROGRAM
Job Title: Registered Nurse – 5 Positions
Location: Zonal: Kibong’oto, Mwanza, Mbeya, DSM, and Dodoma
Reporting to: Medical officer in charge
Duties and responsibilities
- With support of TB laboratory staff, ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for troubleshooting
- New equipment and techniques collaborate with the medical staff/personal working nearby health facility.
- Coordinate schedule for TB active case finding
- Identify patients care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and their families
- Resolves patient’s problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary teams strategies. vi. Documents patient care services by charting patient and department records.
Experiences and Qualifications
- Should be registered nurse
- Active applicable state licensure
- Clean background
- Should have a diploma/certificate in nursing
- Should have 5 years’ experience in the nursing field
- Should have basic computer skills
- Age limit: 50 years.
Terms of Employment: 3 years Contract (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds).
