Senior Accountant

Minimum education: Bachelors degree

Required Experience: At least 4 years

Job Purpose

To assist the Chief Operating Officer in all matters related to Accounts and Finance and to manage and supervise the accounting function of the company(s_ in compliance with Financial Regulation and inaccordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)

Job Experience

• Minimum 4 plus years’ experience working in a reputed organization, in a similar or senior position in Finance and Accounting department
• Education/Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting
• Professional Qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent

Skills

• Strong professional background with executive Financial Management
• Strong analytical skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable accounting and Tax Regulations
• Strong leadership skills
• Knowledge of accounting software
• Awareness and general knowledge of the logistics industry / Clearing and Forwarding services
• Numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good IT Skills
