POWER FENCE LIMITED is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join their Accounts Department. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting financial operations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
Core Function
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, trial balances, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multiple entities.
- Consolidate e-commerce financial data from multiple platforms.

Basic Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage accounting records within the ERP system (e.g. ERP Next or equivalent).
- Ensure data integrity across modules including finance, inventory, payroll, procurement, and projects. ajira
- Assist in system improvements, process automation, and internal controls.
- Manage all statutory payments and filings in Tanzania.
- Ensure timely submissions, accurate reconciliations, and compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliation.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock records and periodic stock counts.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple companies.
- Ensure payroll is accurate, confidential, and compliant with labour and tax regulations.
- Reconcile payroll-related statutory deductions and payments.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable for multiple companies.
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Handle accounting operations for multiple entities simultaneously.
- Work closely with management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification such as CPA (T), ACCA, or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role.
- Experience in successfully handling multiple companies/entities.
- Strong background in ERP systems, statutory compliance, inventory, payroll, accounts payables & receivables.
