SENIOR MANAGER - COMPLIANCE
INDUSTRY – BANKING
HR World on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Senior Manager Compliance who will be responsible for ensuring regulatory requirements, policies & procedures and laws of the country are compiled.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Develop annual compliance workplan that reflects organization culture
• Defining necessary level of knowledge on regulatory compliance requirements
• Providing support, education and training staff to build procedure awareness
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations whilst taking a commercial and
  practical approach to risk-based challenges and offer appropriate solutions.
• Develop, lead, and motivate the Compliance team to maximize effectiveness.
• Independently investigating and acting on matters relating to compliance
• Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received
  or investigation outcomes.
• Consult with Head of legal services as necessary to address difficult legal compliance issues.
• Prepare management reports including board reports regarding compliance
  operations and progress.
• Report violations of compliance or regulatory standards to duly authorized
  enforcement agencies as appropriate or required.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Investment, Economics, or any related field.
• A Postgraduate Degree and/or qualification such as Master of Business Administration (MBA) or professional risk qualifications will be an added advantage
• Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in progressive positions in risk and or compliance management role
