Position: Director of ICT Services

The University of Iringa is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of ICT Services to lead its Information and Communication Technology department.

Main Responsibilities:

• Managing the university's ICT systems and infrastructure.
• Ensuring the security of systems, networks, and institutional information.
• Supervising ICT staff and providing technical support.
• Managing ICT projects and technology upgrades.
• Recommending appropriate hardware and software.
• Coordinating ICT security audits and investigations.
• Preparing ICT status and performance reports.
• Managing relationships with ICT vendors and service providers.
• Keeping the university updated with emerging technologies.

Academic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree
• A Master's Degree

Work Experience:

• At least 6 years of relevant work experience.
