FRONT-END API ENGINEER

Join our client's dynamic tech team and work on modern, high-impact applications that power the future of fintech and capital markets.

LOCATION: Dar es Salaam

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, On-site

DEPARTMENT: Client Services / Operations

INDUSTRY: Capital Markets/Stock Brokerage

KEY DUTIES

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly front-end applications.

• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Develop, test, and maintain APIs where required.

• Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end, API, and integration issues.

• Conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to maintain quality.

• Collaborate with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.

• Maintain technical documentation and support application deployments.

• Stay updated on modern front-end, API, and software development technologies.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Professional certifications in software development, cloud computing, APIs, or relevant technologies are an added advantage.

• Relevant professional experience in front-end development and API integration may be considered in lieu of some academic requirements.
