Applications are invited for the following positions:CIVIL ENGINEER – 1 Post.Job purpose:To provide professional Civil Engineering services in the planning, design, supervision and execution of construction projects while ensuring compliance with approved standards, specifications, quality and safety requirements.Key Responsibilities:Supervise civil and construction works at Project sites.Review drawings, designs, specifications and construction methodologies.Monitor project progress and ensure works are executed according to approved plans.Conduct site inspections and measurements.Coordinate contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.Monitor quality of materials and workmanship.Assist in preparation of project reports, schedules and documentation.Identify construction challenges and recommend practical solutions.Ensure compliance with applicable construction, safety and environmental requirements.Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to the position as may be assigned from time to time.Minimum Requirements:Must be a holder of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.At least 2 years' experience in the construction industry is preferable.Registration with the relevant Professional Engineering body.Experience in site supervision and construction project management.Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant engineering software.MODE OF APPLICATION:Applicants must attach an up-to-dated CV and ensure reliable contact (postal address/post code, e-mail and telephone numbers), and submit to the following email address: hr@sec.co.tz.Deadline: Applications should reach SMIL on or before Friday 23 Oct-2026, COB.
