About the Role
As a Data Scientist at Selcom, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across various business lines. You will be responsible for analyzing data, building models, and creating insightful reports to support business growth and strategy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science. A Master's degree is considered an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in data science, business intelligence (BI), or analytics. Experience in fintech/payments is preferred.
Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
Strong SQL skills.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or Looker.
Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques including regression and clustering, and forecasting methods.
Key Responsibilities
Lead data analysis across Selcom's business lines to deliver decision-ready insights.
Build and maintain scorecards, dashboards, and Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Drive data governance initiatives and establish analytical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
