Park Hyatt Zanzibar is looking for a Head Chef who is vested with abilities and skills to run and administer our culinary department.
Qualifications
The Head Chef that we are looking for has to have the following qualities
A diploma/degree in Food production, Hotel Management
3 years prior working experience as Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a reputable luxury brand
strong organizational skills which will enable him to coordinate with local food suppliers for deliveries of local fresh and seasonal food
Extensive budget making skills and food cost controlling skills
strong team work skills together with other operational departments especially the FNB service department
strong communication skills which will enable him/ her to talk and take feedback from the guest
quick and applicable tactics in solving guest problems
strong administrative and time keeping skills
