Human Resource and Administration Manager

HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Human Resource and Administration Manager who will be responsible for managing the human resource and administrative functions of the organization to ensure a conducive work environment and a skilled, motivated workforce that supports the achievement of organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
Managing and updating HR records and continuously improving the HRMIS and HR reporting systems
Ensuring compliance with Tanzanian labour laws and maintaining HR compliance registers
Supporting the preparation and implementation of HR plans, budgets and HR strategies
Maintaining relationships with pension, insurance and employee benefit service providers
Supporting recruitment, selection and induction processes across departments
Reviewing and supporting the implementation of HR policies, procedures and frameworks
Supporting performance management processes and working with departmental heads to improve employee performance
Maintaining employee welfare systems and effective relations with employee associations
Promoting effective employee communication and positive employee relations within the organization
Supporting talent management initiatives including policy development, processes and procedures
Assessing staff competencies, identifying skills gaps and recommending training and development programs
Supporting workforce planning, recruitment activities and staff retention strategies
Assisting in the development and implementation of succession planning aligned with organizational structure
Handling disciplinary matters, grievances and conflict resolution below managerial level
Supporting implementation of employee health and safety standards in line with labour regulations
Managing employee separation processes and conducting exit interviews
Managing procurement processes including tendering, vendor prequalification and supplier contracts
Assisting in budgeting for administrative items such as office supplies, furniture and equipment
Overseeing supplier compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field
MBA will be considered an added advantage
Membership with a recognized Human Resource professional body
Minimum of 4 years proven experience in Human Resource management
Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws and HR practices
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, negotiation and report writing skills with proficiency in English and Kiswahili
