Maintenance Planner

HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Planner responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring maintenance activities, optimizing equipment reliability, managing spare parts, and supporting maintenance performance across power generation operations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage maintenance work plans, preventive maintenance schedules, and shutdown plans.
Monitor and track maintenance activities to ensure timely execution and compliance with maintenance schedules.
Monitor equipment health through effective predictive maintenance practices.
Conduct advanced data interpretation and trend analysis, including engine fluid analysis and vibration analysis.
Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance reports, documentation, and performance records.
Generate and track maintenance KPIs including Availability, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).
Manage spare parts planning, inventory control, and parts consumption forecasting.
Coordinate resource planning, including labor, tools, materials, and spare parts requirements.
Utilize CMMS systems to plan, monitor, and optimize maintenance activities.
Continuously monitor maintenance requirements and support equipment reliability improvement initiatives.
Support maintenance shutdown planning and execution activities.
Ensure maintenance records and documentation are maintained accurately and efficiently.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Diploma with strong field experience, or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Power/Energy Engineering.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Caterpillar, Power Generation, and/or Oil & Gas environments.
Advanced data interpretation and trend analysis skills, particularly in engine fluid analysis and vibration analysis.
Mandatory experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Knowledge of MAXIMO is a significant advantage.
Strong understanding of Caterpillar generator maintenance, including PM intervals, parts lifecycle management, consumption forecasting, and basic failure analysis.
Good understanding of diesel/CFO fuel systems and LV/MV generator electrical systems.
Advanced reporting and documentation skills.
Very good command of written and spoken English.
Very good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
