Job Purpose 
The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for running the stores including stock control, importations, TRA and Clearing. He/ She will also need to interact with the accounts system to produce the LPO's, goods received and authorise payment. 
Job Qualifications/Experience 

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field 
2 years' working experience 
Prepare LPO's in the system 
Receipt all good into the system 
Ensure efficient operation of the purchasing department in all aspects 
Establish written approval for minimum/maximum stock levels by accounts team
Approve all additional requests for new storeroom items, checking correct item description, unit, packing, category, and establishes min/max estimated stock levels 
Verbal and written communication skills 
Active listening and paying attention to details
