We have plants in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Arusha, and Mbeya. Currently, our Dar es Salaam Plant seeks to urgently recruit qualified, experienced. and hands-on-skilled personnel to fill the position of Senior Accountant.Job Position:Senior AccountantReporting to:Assistant Finance ManagerLocation:Dar es SalaamPrimary Purpose of the Job:To ensure stock reconciliation is performed accurately and timely circulated to stakeholders.To ensure Statutory returns are timely prepared and sent to Head office for consolidation and filing to the respective authorities.To maintain the fixed asset register and ensure it is properly updated and agreed to the Trial Balance.To ensure the company maximizes returns on scrap sales disposal and timely settlement of matured invoices.To ensure the finance target of closing accounting entries and reports by the fourth/fifth Day from SBC month closing day is adhered to.Key Responsibilities:Review Daily/weekly/Monthly stock reconciliation of Finished Goods, Glass, Plastic Crates, and Pallet and circulate the report for further action.Prepare monthly stock count protocol report and send it to AFM for review within 4 days from date of closing.Review weekly/monthly breakage report and advise necessary actions to reduce the losses.Review daily CCTV reports related to stock dispatches to/from market/depots and daily output reports. Highlight the variations to the respective HODs for necessary actions.Review daily and weekly stock reconciliation for the depots within the region and advise necessary corrective measures to resolve the variation.Prepare Weekly/Monthly GIT analysis report and review the same report to and from depots within the region.Preparing statutory returns of VAT, Excise Duty, Industrial Service Levies, and any other returns as may be instituted by the government.Perform reconciliation of ETS consumption Vs. Production units Vs.
