Watumishi Housing Investments (WHI) is seeking qualified and dynamic Public Servants to join their organization through transfer for the vacant position of Senior Finance Management Officer.
Introduction to Watumishi Housing Investments (WHI)
Established in 2013, Watumishi Housing Investments (WHI) is dedicated to implementing the Public Servants Housing Scheme (PSHS). WHI operates as a property developer and a licensed fund manager for the Watumishi Housing REIT (WH-REIT).
Senior Finance Management Officer (1 Post)
Duty Station:
WHI Head Office, Dar es Salaam
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze projects' financial performance.
Develop budget frameworks for development projects.
Conduct project feasibility studies and prepare financial projections.
Monitor project development finance portfolio.
Monitor project costs against budget and forecasts.
Manage project financing arrangements and debt instruments.
Identify, monitor, and manage project development risks.
Provide project financial updates to key stakeholders.
Conduct real estate market studies and analyze trends for investment opportunities.
Analyze working capital and advise accordingly.
Analyze the Company's budget, revenue, and expenditure trends, and prepare/update financial management guidelines.
Contribute to long-term financial planning.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Real Estate Finance and Investment, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration majoring in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions. A minimum of seven (7) years of working experience in a related field is required.
