INDUSTRY: CONSTRUCTION
HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Site Agent to provide overall leadership and management of assigned construction projects, ensuring successful delivery in accordance with safety, quality, schedule, cost, profitability, contractual, and client requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead project start-up, mobilization, planning, and execution activities in line with approved project strategies.
Develop and manage project budgets, resource plans, procurement plans, mobilization plans, and risk registers.
Review contract requirements and ensure project teams understand and comply with contractual obligations.
Establish effective project reporting, monitoring, and control systems.
Manage all construction activities and resources to ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, quality standards, and timelines.
Coordinate project staff, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress, productivity, resource utilization, and construction activities against approved drawings, specifications, and work programs.
Identify and resolve project execution challenges promptly to minimize delays and additional costs.
Monitor labour, materials, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs and implement corrective measures where necessary.
Work closely with the cost control team to protect project profitability and support accurate cost and margin forecasting.
Prepare and submit monthly Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) in accordance with contractual requirements.
Ensure all completed and billable works are accurately captured in project valuations and follow up consultant reviews and certification.
Support collection efforts by ensuring technical, contractual, and certification requirements are fulfilled.
Identify and document variations and maintain adequate records to support claims and contractual entitlements.
Provide timely notification of events affecting project time or cost and support preparation of claims and Extension of Time submissions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional registration with a relevant professional body is required.
Minimum of 8–12 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure project delivery.
Demonstrated experience in major civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, water projects, or similar construction projects.
Proven experience in project and construction management with significant leadership responsibility.
Strong knowledge of contract administration, variations, claims, project cost control, budgeting, and financial management.
