This internship programme is specifically designed to provide young graduates with practical workplace experience, professional mentorship, and opportunities to enhance their skills and competencies.Technician II – Civil (1 post)Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo carry out specified tasks related to civil engineering/construction workshops or laboratory practicals, students’ projects, research, consultancy, and services under close supervision.To assist in the repair and maintenance of civil engineering workshops and laboratory facilities.To assist senior staff in related areas of civil engineering operations.To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.QualificationHolder of a Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.General Conditions / GuidelinesNationality: All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania.Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 45 years of age at the time of application.Application Completeness: Applicants must attach a signed application letter indicating the internship position applied for, together with their recent passport size photograph and an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV) containing reliable contact details, including postal address, email address, and telephone number(s).Academic Documentation: All applicants must attach certified copies of their academic certificates, academic transcripts, Form IV/Form VI certificates, and birth certificate.Result Slips/Transcripts: Result slips, testimonials, and partial transcripts will NOT be accepted.Foreign Certificates: Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure that their certificates are verified and evaluated by the relevant authorities (TCU or NECTA, as applicable).N.B.: This is an internship placement programme aimed at skills enhancement.
