Business Unit & Reporting
Reporting To: Management
Core Function
Drive sales growth for the Company focusing on Northern Tanzania.
Build and maintain strong relationships and a positive presence in the northern zone relevant customers and distributors.
Identify new business opportunities whilst expanding existing channels.
Represent the Company across the Northern Zone and demonstrate a high level of product knowledge to perform successful marketing and implement solutions.
Achieve set sales targets and territory performance goals.
Experience & Qualifications
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in agricultural and livestock sectors.
Strong understanding of livestock management practices and fencing solutions.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building long-term client relationships.
Strong sales mind and closing abilities.
Technical aptitude to learn and understand the product portfolio, and explain in detail product specifications and site assessments.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and manage a remote territory.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
Basic Responsibilities
Execute a territory sales plan aligned with Company goals and standards.
Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations, and site assessments.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting new customers and opportunities.
Provide expert advice using the resources available to implement effective sales strategies for the Company.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Utilize the systems and resources available to report movements and activities effectively.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support professionally.
