Paveway Africa LtdWe are HIRING TRACKING OFFICERIndustry: Logistics and TransportLocation: Dar es SalaamEmployment Type: Full-time, On-siteReporting To: Operations ManagerJob PurposeTo monitor the company fleet, ensure trucks are moving safely and efficiently, and provide timely information to the operations team when there are delays, breakdowns, deviations or other issues.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor all trucks through the tracking system and calls and follow up on unusual stops, delays and route deviations.Maintain daily records of truck movements, trips, loading, offloading and delays.Immediately report breakdowns, accidents, route issues or other incidents.Coordinate with drivers, Transport, Workshop and Management when action is required.Prepare daily and weekly tracking and distance reports.Ensure tracking information is accurate and properly recorded.Identify areas where technology or better procedures can improve fleet control.Follow up on outstanding issues until they are resolved.Maintain fuel and allowance records and timely orders and payments.Creation of orders for trucks loading and monitor no delays at loading point.RequirementsComputer knowledge is a must; good knowledge of Excel is an advantage.Experience with GPS/fleet tracking systems is an advantage but not mandatory.Good communication and follow-up skills.Able to work under pressure and handle multiple trucks at the same time.Both experienced candidates and fresh graduates are welcome.What We ExpectWe are looking for someone who does not only follow instructions but also thinks.
