Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Waiter II to join our Operations team. This role is vital in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests within our camps.
Responsibilities and Duties
Greet and escort customers to their tables.
Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including portions, ingredients, and potential food allergies.
Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
Inform customers about the day's specials.
Offer menu recommendations upon request.
Up-sell additional products when appropriate.
Take accurate food and drinks orders using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality or a vocational training in Food & Beverage.
Previous experience as a Waiter in tourism industries is essential.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a waiter in a camp environment.
Must be able to speak English fluently; other languages are an advantage.
The ability to work well with others.
Strong multi-tasking skills.
Commitment to a high level of customer service.
Attention to detail.
Experience
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
