HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant who will play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining statutory compliance. This role is ideal for a CPA candidate looking to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Manage and monitor all cash transactions with precise documentation.
- Ensure effective control of online bank account access for real-time fund oversight.
- Monitor and report on daily fund positions.
- Verify transport invoices daily and ensure timely approvals.
- Manage banking facilities including loan requests, loan closures, tracking repayments, and IPF reconciliation.
- Reconcile staff loans and advances.
- Conduct random stock verifications to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile creditors to guarantee timely payments.
- Prepare and present MIS-related monthly management reports.
- Conduct stock taking and reconciliation.
- Review and submit statutory returns including PAYE, SDL, WHT, VAT, NSSF, and WCF.
- Manage advance tax (quarterly) and city service levy (quarterly) filings.
- Assist in the finalization of financial statements.
- Support statutory and TRA audits.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
