HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, we are looking for Branch Managers who will be responsible for driving growth across new retail banking branches. The role involves identifying new markets, developing business strategies, increasing customer acquisition, and ensuring performance through employee engagement and high-impact leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business development and marketing initiatives to grow deposits, loan portfolios, and alternative banking channels.
- Assess market opportunities and analyze trends to support strategic decisions.
- Formulate and implement business development strategies and marketing plans.
- Conduct competitive intelligence and research on customer behavior and market dynamics.
- Handle business inquiries, generate leads, and follow up on sales activities and proposals.
- Drive the development of new revenue streams and optimize income from existing services.
- Increase market share by identifying untapped markets and creating tailored customer experiences.
- Grow customer base by increasing accounts, carded customers, agents, and merchants.
- Monitor and manage branch budgets and financial performance.
- Oversee the performance of business portfolios and new customer accounts.
- Provide leadership to teams by promoting employee development, engagement, and performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments on product/service improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor in line with the role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, with a focus on business development and relationship management.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of banking risks, AML, KYC policies, and regulatory compliance.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working in high-pressure environments.
- Strong understanding of retail banking operations and customer growth strategies.
