The Role

The successful candidate will combine commercial leadership with strong credit judgment, financial discipline, regulatory credibility and the ability to build a high-performing Institution.

Key Accountabilities

• Execute AML's 2025-2030 strategy and deliver sustainable profitability.
• Strengthen credit quality, portfolio monitoring, collections and recovery.
• Diversify funding and improve systems, technology and operational efficiency.
• Build a high-performing leadership team and a strong culture of accountability.
• Maintain strong relationships with the Board, regulators, investors, lenders and customers.

Candidate Profile

• At least 15 years' experience in banking, non-bank finance, SME finance, microfinance, development finance or a related field, including senior executive leadership.
• Proven success in delivering growth, transformation and sustainable profitability.
• Strong knowledge of SME credit and portfolio-quality management.
• Bachelor's degree required; a Master's, MBA or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
• Experience in Tanzania or a comparable African market is desirable.
