VisionFund Tanzania: Communication Intern (Arusha)

VisionFund Tanzania is seeking a dynamic and creative Communication Intern to join their team in Arusha. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and communication campaigns.

Position Summary

The Communication Intern will support the communications and marketing team in creating engaging visual and written content. The role focuses on graphic design, video creation, and digital storytelling to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visual content including posters, banners, social media graphics, and campaign materials.
• Edit and produce short videos for social media, internal communication, and promotional use.
• Support content creation for digital platforms such as social media, websites, and email campaigns.
• Assist in developing creative concepts for communication campaigns.
• Ensure brand consistency across all visual and multimedia materials.
• Collaborate with the communications team on storytelling and content planning.
• Capture and edit photos/videos during events when required.

• Support basic social media management (posting, scheduling, and engagement monitoring).

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
• Basic to intermediate video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools).
• Creativity and strong visual storytelling ability.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Communication, Marketing, Graphic Design, Media, or a related field.
• Portfolio of design or video work is an added advantage.
