Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring client electrical systems (UPS and Inventor Power System)
  • Responding to electrical support requests
  • Diagnosing electrical hardware issues
  • Following up with clients to ensure their electrical systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
  • Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems
  • Repairing hardware malfunctions
  • Tracking and managing work records
  • Compiling job reports, and sending daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Engineers Registration Board Certification as required by the Company
  • Escalating problems to seniors immediately

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Registered with Engineers Registration Board (ERB) TZ
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of Tanzanian electrical codes and standards
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, or equivalent)
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision

Added Advantages

  • Experience in renewable energy systems (solar, wind)
  • Knowledge of ICT/electrical integration projects
  • Project management certification (PMP/PRINCE2)
