Position Summary

Ifakara Health Institute seeks a qualified Field Worker who will work with the Sub-TB project to follow up participants at the clinic and their home place.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow up household members of the patients at their home place.
• Taking samples (Blood and sputum) of the participants
• Reconsenting participants
• Identification and Management of adverse and severe adverse event
• Initial development of SOPs

Qualification and Experience

• Diploma/Certificate in nurse, laboratory or medicine
• Experience in research
• Experience in riding a motorbike

Skills and Competencies

• Patient Management skills
• Computer skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
