Hotel Receptionist - Hospitality Industry

HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, is seeking to recruit a Hotel Receptionist with prior hotel experience to manage front desk operations and deliver excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures in line with hotel standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, reservations, cancellations, and room allocations efficiently.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence promptly.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and update booking systems accordingly.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
  • Handle guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and manage basic billing activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Front Office Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Receptionist in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Good knowledge of hotel reservation systems and front office procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
