Hotel Receptionist - Hospitality Industry
HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, is seeking to recruit a Hotel Receptionist with prior hotel experience to manage front desk operations and deliver excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures in line with hotel standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, reservations, cancellations, and room allocations efficiently.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence promptly.
- Maintain accurate guest records and update booking systems accordingly.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Handle guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage basic billing activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Front Office Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Receptionist in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of hotel reservation systems and front office procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
