INTERNAL AUDIT ASSISTANT

MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

Job Summary

Support internal audits across business operations to help maintain effective internal controls, assess risk and strengthen compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

• CPA (T), ACCA or equivalent qualification, completed or in progress.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Location

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and assess the internal control framework.

• Apply a risk-based approach to financial, operational and IT audits.

• Document audit testing and findings in working papers.

• Verify compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Identify audit findings and prepare reports with practical recommendations.

• Support the preparation and review of SOPs, policies and procedures.

• Follow up on previous audit recommendations.

• Work with the audit team and engage professionally with staff at all levels.
