Job Purpose
To provide independent and objective assurance, evaluations, analyses, and appraisals designed to add value and improve the company's operations and effectiveness of governance and risk management processes and internal controls environment.
To ensure that General Ledger account balances reflect operations carried by the company and its financial position through the compatibility and integrity of data on all systems interfacing with General Ledger, to ensure that all the systems interfaces are reconciled in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelors in Accounting/Commerce/CPA or equivalent
- Post Graduate Qualification in related field
- Member of the NBAA, ACCA (or equivalent)
- Ability to plan and organize the function 6 months to 1 year ahead
- Inter-personal skills and ability to manage teams
- Financial Auditing knowledge
