Mechanic - Heavy Duty
HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, we are seeking for a skilled and reliable Mechanic who will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs for light and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake checks, and tire rotations.
- Repair or replace defective parts including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work conducted.
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to complete repair jobs in a timely manner.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior mechanics when needed.
- Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, or any other related field from recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
