The National Career Center Manager will

• Implement activities in area of focus, under direction of team leader
• Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the career centers, particularly the training sessions and employer services
• Maintain contact with the private sector and other stakeholders as a representative of the center
• Support industry linkage advisor/job scouts to develop partnerships with employers
• Provide career counseling sessions
• Hold weekly staff meetings with the career center staff

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor degree in management or social sciences, education or other relevant fields
• Experience in working together with the private sector
• A minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in human resources management, employment promotion, employability training, private sector promotion or related fields
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading teams
• Former working experience in a development project
• Basic knowledge of the Tanzanian Vocational Educational and Training Authority
• Working experience in Tanzania or East Africa
• Driving license category B
• Excellent spoken and written English and Kiswahili
• Right to live and work in Tanzania/East Africa
• Available to resume work on the 18th of March 2018
