Position: Pharmacist - 1 Post

Duty Station: Ifakara

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Dispense prescribed medications accurately and counsel patients on proper usage.

2. Manage and control pharmacy inventory, stock taking, ordering and storage.

3. Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council regulations and hospital policies.

4. Maintain accurate records of all drugs and narcotics.

5. Monitor prescriptions for drug interactions, contraindications and dosage errors.

6. Provide drug information to doctors, nurses and other health care providers.

7. Supervise and mentor pharmaceutical technicians and interns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, Valid license.

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 2 years.

• Oncology advantage.
